Vortex flowmeters

Vortex flowmeters operate on the Karman vortex street principle to measure the volumetric flowrate of gases, fluids and vapours.

	for temperatures from -20...+430°C (-4...806°F) and pressure up to 100 bar (1450 psig)
	high measuring accuracy (< 1.5% for liquids and <1.0% for gasses) and high reproducibility; stable measurement at Re > 5000
	non-contact measurement, no mechanically moving sensor parts, maintenance-free
	suitable for vertical or horizontal installation
	compact and remote electronics (up to 15 m / 50 ft) versions available
	flange version DN 15 - DN 300
	sandwich version DN 15 - DN 200 in stainless steel or Hastelloy C, low sensitivity to pipework noise and conditions
	communication via HART®-Protocol

Applications

	for flow velocities up to 7.7 m/s (25.3 ft/s) for liquids or 80 m/s (260 ft/s) for gases and steam
	hot steam measurement, also for CIP and SIP applications in the food industry
